Really, I don't think so. Paul even said that *he* thought it was best NOT to marry... I don't think he was mixing words in his letter.

You' clearly haven't actually read anything I've wrote. You'd rather simply imply that I condone his behavior, than understand that while I find his behavior egregious, It's not criminal, nor should it be. You can support the presumption of innocence and the rule of law without being "pro-rape" as some people seem to imply.

Moldred didn't misinterpret anything, since there has never been a consensus on what the correct interpretation is.

That's a myth!

I'm not sure what you're talking about. What if the sculptor is willing to build a cross for a local church but is commissioned by the KKK to build one for one of their rallies? In that case, he offers a product (a cross) to the general public, but under a narrow set of circumstances, he believes his product will convey a message of hate if he builds it for the rally.

He didn't choose to do any wrong. Again, he was perfect. His choices are never wrong.

Im not a baker. Perhaps you should go find a baker and let me know what the outcome of your question was.

You're 99% certain there's no generic creator behind the universe. It's really about certainty rather than belief.

There are other types of patronage besides religious. Not interested in those either.

The concept of "agreeing to disagree" seems a little silly and backwards. Why does there need to be an agreement on each having their own opinion? ...it's almost as if it's saying they need each other's permission to have an opinion....doesn't seem healthy to approach it from that angle. Maybe just accept that everyone is going to have an opinion in life and those aren't always going to align with your own.

Sigh. You can safely assume that I understand such matters, including the relevant laws, pretty well. Hence my use of the term ?modern?.

Morning y'all. Hope all is well. Just found out some high school spoiled kids cut down 20 trees at a school near by. This is very sad and I hope they are all caught. Maybe the parents can pay some fines and get some punishment also.

Seems to be so.

Still trying to justify your homosexuality but it's not going to keep you from going to Hell if you don't repent. As for Christ condemning homosexuality. Jesus speaking here: "Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable (includes sodomites and homosexuals in the Greek), and murderers, and whoremongers (Greek includes all LGBT as well as sexually loose people) , and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. " OOPS! I'd say Jesus is not only condemning it but he's going to send them to hell. You can continue mocking and trying to play around with the Bible to try to justify yourself but that doesn't change the fact that you are going to go to the Lake of Fire forever IF you don't repent. I'm just laying out the Bible to you and if you reject it, take it up with the Author when you come before Him and try to get into heaven and you hear Him say depart from me into the fires reserved for the devil and his angels, I never knew you.

The statement that some think Eve came from Adam's penis is a little inaccurate. The claim was made by a single author, not "some," and is based on the translation of the Hebrew word "tzelah." This word, usually translated as "rib," literally means "side." The author noted that man is the only mammal of comparable size to lack a baculum, aka the "penis bone." Because "tzelah" as "side" could mean any protrusion from the central core, the authorreasoned, and man does not have a baculum, it could have accounted for this "tzelah." Of course, this glides over the fact that in analogous languages to ancient Hebrew, words cognate with "tzelah" meant "rib" in the context of the human body. But it's kind of fun to think about for some people.

it does sound like hes just blowing her off, and placating her.. im shre after 7 years, the "sure, baby ,we'll get around to it,, crap, is wearin thin. how many times can she bring it up, before it becomes repetative? and its an important issue. like you said,, when a baby pops out it will be too late. it may be polite,, but its nagging in nature, when he cant [or wont give dates],, or reasons why not.
